General scope of role: Reporting to the Senior Estimator the Estimator will take responsibility for numerous aspects of the estimating function.

Main duties:
• Management of Pre-Production Only orders from estimate through to invoicing
• Preparation of Enquiry Packages providing supplier quotes
• Complete pricing and provide quotations for Signature Stairs products
• Preparation of Tender Packages to clients and prospective clients for non-standard products
• Maintain the Estimating Library
• Conduct cost analysis following completion of jobs
• Liaise with other departments as required to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Work to a high level of confidentiality
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and EN1090

Minimum requirements of Estimator:
• Relevant qualification, i.e. Construction Studies, Engineering
• Understanding of quantity surveying and estimating
• Knowledge of steel materials

• Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to multi-task and prioritise

Projects Manager UK

General scope of role: The Projects Manager is responsible for construction projects in the UK. This role initially extends to the Greater London Area however, it may, over time incorporate additional locations. The PM will be responsible for researching and developing our UK client base, and managing relationships with our clients. The PM will take an active role in surveying sites and in supervising the installation of these projects.

Main duties:
• Take the lead on managing all UK based projects
• Research and development of client base in the UK with the view to increase sales
• Follow up on suitable sales leads and report on same to Sales & Marketing Manager in Head Office
• Client relationship management
• Conduct site surveys & liaise with the Drawing Department & Site Installation Manager on the design processes
• Scheduling & supervision of works & site installations (UK)
• Manage timelines of projects to ensure tasks are completed in line with estimated times
• Ensure all projects are being run in line with OCE requirements
• Raise any concerns regarding quality or time lines of jobs, appropriately
• Quality control of all aspects of installation
• Ensure all health & safety standards are adhered to and all relevant documentation completed and returned to Head Office
• Complete QC sheets in full for handover to Head Office
• Complete employee timesheets in full, as required, for handover to Head Office
• Remain available to travel to Head Office as required and deemed necessary by Managing Director or Human Resources Manager
• Partake in all relevant training as deemed appropriate by the Human Resources Department
• Ensure all EN1090 and ISO9001:2015 standards and requirements are met
• Further the Lean Process, partake in Lean initiatives and ensure Lean principles are followed

Minimum requirements of Project Manager:
• Five years’ experience in a similar role
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, or similar
• Demonstrable abilities in client management
• Experience in working with various steels, timber and glass components
• Experience in overseeing site installation works
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise projects
• Experience in leading teams to execute projects to a very high standard

Steel Detailer

General scope of role: The Steel Detailer is part of the Drawing and Programming team with responsibility for creating accurate and specific technical drawings.

Main duties:
• Create 2D and 3D CAD Drawings for use in all aspects of production, including but not limited to programming, fabrication, welding, assembly and site installation
• Ensure all drawings are created in line with ISO9001 and EN1090 requirements
• Liaise with clients and site installation team to ensure all jobs are completed as per client requirements
• Maintain administrative functions associated with the various drawings

Minimum requirements of the Steel Detailer:
• Relevant qualification in architectural technology or engineering stream
• Advanced AutoCAD qualification
• Experience in Tekla Structures modelling would be an advantage
• Previous experience in creating, reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Knowledge of EN1090 Standard
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task and move between projects with ease
• Undertake training as required

The Steel Detailer will be required to attend any training events as identified as relevant by the Company. The role may change over time in line with Company progression and expansion. The Steel Detailer will be expected to progress with any such changes. The Steel Detailer role requires a minimum of 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A reasonable level of overtime including Saturdays may be required to ensure the fulfilment of the requirements of this role.
