General scope of role
: Reporting to the Senior Estimator the Estimator will take responsibility for numerous aspects of the estimating function.

Main duties:
• Management of Pre-Production Only orders from estimate through to invoicing
• Preparation of Enquiry Packages providing supplier quotes
• Complete pricing and provide quotations for Signature Stairs products
• Preparation of Tender Packages to clients and prospective clients for non-standard products
• Maintain the Estimating Library
• Conduct cost analysis following completion of jobs
• Liaise with other departments as required to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Work to a high level of confidentiality
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and EN1090

Minimum requirements of Estimator:
• Relevant qualification, i.e. Construction Studies, Engineering
• Understanding of quantity surveying and estimating
• Knowledge of steel materials
• Proficient in MS Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
• Proven ability to read and analyse technical drawings
• Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Flexibility to move between projects

Field Sales Representative

Main Duties:
• Drive targeted sales in O’Carroll Engineering and Signature Stairs products in commercial architectural metalwork and industrial access systems.
• Generate leads across a range of customer types, e.g. architects, developers, contractors, manufacturers and construction management companies
• Achieve sales levels as set by senior management
• Act as the ambassador in the field for O’Carroll Engineering and Signature Stairs, building market awareness of our brand and knowledge of our areas of expertise.
• Build and maintain professional customer relationships
• Submission of work/ journey plans, objectives, KPIs, sales pipeline reports and updated CRM system.

• Successfully sold into architects, developers, contractors, manufacturers and construction management companies
• Field sales experience in high-end luxury products, ideally in a similar industry
• Verifiable history and proven successful track record in field sales and ability to work under your own initiative
• Knowledge of construction materials and methods would be beneficial
• Relevant qualification / experience in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Business or similar field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in the English language
• Full clean Driving Licence
• Must be willing to travel anywhere within Ireland

The successful candidate will work closely with, and report to, the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Head Office is located in Killarney, Co. Kerry however, this role will be based in Dublin and will require significant time spent travelling throughout Ireland. This is a full time role and will be offered on a permanent basis subject to the successful completion of a probation period.
